Grassin Interval Timer 3-Way Manual Override Pin Settings
For the HMI Hoyme Timer Adaptors
– There are three positions for the 3-way manual override – The normal position is in the ‘middle’. In this position the timer will operate as it should – Each white pin extended outwards on the periphery represents 15 minutes each of current control
The center pin placed in the up ‘ I ‘ position will cause the timer to act as if all the white pins were extended.
The center pin in the down ‘ 0 ’ position will cause the timer to act as if there we no pins extended. |
In addition to the white pins on the periphery which may be pulled outwards to override normal circuit settings, there is another pin (3-way manual override) located in the center of the timer face as shown by the Red Arrow.
Based on questions from customers we have provided below a more detailed explanation on setting the time and the function of the pins for the operation of your timer adaptor.
Programming Your HOYME Timer
- The 24-hour dial has quarter-hour divisions and AM/PM indications
- The time switch is set by pushing the captive trippers (white pins on the periphery) to the outer ring position for the entire period that the load is to be turned ON, i.e., fifteen minutes for each tripper on the 24-hour dial. When the tripper is pushed to the inside, the switch is in the OFF position
Setting the Timer on Your HOYME Timer
- To set the current timer, turn the minute hand clockwise. Do not set the timer by rotating the “Outer” Dial
- Turn the minute hand clockwise until the time of day on the outer dial is aligned with the triangle marker on the inner dial (two o’clock position)
- Example: for 24-hour program dial 10:30 AM, turn the minute hand clockwise until 10:30 AM is aligned with the triangle on the inner dial. The hour and the minute dial will show exactly 10:30
Manual Override on Your HOYME Timer
